The best way to love someone is by pointing them to the hope
of the gospel. Corn continues to give us a tangible way to meet
a physical need while focusing on what really matters,
receiving the eternal hope of the gospel! Relationships are
opening new doors for us to preach the
gospel.

The Mayan Compass
This is a Mayan compass that is surrounded by their 4 colors of humanity (connected by the sacred Ceiba that reaches into Xilbaba / "the place of fear" ... more on this later).
Red points to the east and represents the daily birthplace of the sun. Black points to the west, as it is here, that according to the Mayan's, the sun dies daily. White depicts the north, and yellow points to the south.
This is another classic example of a "Mars Hill" opportunity to use one's culture to communicate the gospel. Sin has darkened our lives (black) but the blood of Jesus (red) can cleanse us (white) from our sins so that we can walk the streets of gold (yellow).
